Welcome to The Effectiveness Awards

Whatever else you can say about the past year, it hasn't been boring. There were some extraordinary highs and some devastating lows. Marketing has been touched by this turbulence, particularly in the high street.
Nevertheless, you'll find plenty to applaud in this year's Marketing Week Effectiveness Awards, our seventh.
We believe we have come up with some excellent winners, whose achievements will be duly written up in useful and accessible case studies, with the help of the Chartered Institute of Marketing.
As ever, a word of thanks to our dedicated panel of judges. It is only through their diverse skills and thoughtfulness that the quality of so many outstanding entries can be put in a proper perspective and ranked according to their merits.
Of course, no event like this can succeed without the enthusiastic support of its audience. This year, you have given the awards an even bigger endorsement by turning up in record numbers to the awards night. The Hilton Hotel is once again bursting at the seams with the cream of the marketing profession.
